9:58 AM – WTF is wrong with my life?

I’m beginning to think that some wire in my life has gotten crossed with a couple others. Not only did I accidentally delete 7 of my friends while I was trying to rearrange them, I feel worse because I haven’t had a chance to find them and add them again.

I haven’t posted anywhere since I left Florida, so let’s play a little catch up?

We made the long drive up to NC last Saturday. We had stopped at South of the Boarder (tourist trap) to stretch our legs and tank up, and that’s when I got the call from my aunt. She said that there’d been a death in my Dad’s family and that my parents and brother, who are in Delaware, were already driving down to meet us in Raleigh. They stayed until Tuesday and even though it was a funeral that brought them down I was happy to see them, because I only get to see them a couple times a year. :/

This morning I was woken up by the phone – it’s my fault for setting the ringer on high. It was my Mom calling us to say that there’s been another death in my Dad’s family. I’m really feeling bad for him. I don’t know if they’re are coming down again, but if they do they’ll get in late tonight. So there’s probably going to be more craziness in my recently settled Aunt’s house.

I know I owe some people a few things. They are first on my list of things to do tomorrow. I just have to finish my 25 page paper by tonight, and hopefully make it to an important meeting by 6:30.

Really, what happened to my life? I thought things would settle down once I got here.
