The Write Life

I can’t believe what has happened, and furthermore, I can’t believe we weren’t notified as users. I believe in the right of free speech, especially when it comes to what I want to think and write. I think of my blog as a personal journal that I leave up for the world to read, and I leave my communities open for users and friends to read my stories. I do NOT need to add ‘constant worrying that my journals might be deleted because I said the wrong thing’ to my list of things to do everyday.

I will no longer be updating my blog or communities here.

For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, go take a look at the following sites:

Mass deletion sparks LiveJournal revolt

I’m sorry to say that I couldn’t find an official Live Journal news release on the site to link to. However, I did find a community that is protesting this deletion. Please join if you haven’t already.

As for me, I don’t know where I’m moving my blog to yet. Stay tuned though, I will be making one last post to let you know where I end up.

I wish you all well, and hope that Live Journal and SixApart will come to their senses and apologize
for the terror they’ve cause. I can only imagine the memories that have been lost.

Good bye , Live Journal.

One Response to “Dear SixApart, how dare you.”
